Terms of Use

1. Use at your own risk

You use HobbyPulse entirely at your own risk. The Application is provided for personal collection management and informational purposes only. Nothing in the Application is investment advice, financial advice, appraisal advice, legal advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, trade, insure, or otherwise deal in any card, collectible, or other asset.

2. No liability — TechDoba and related parties

Under no circumstances shall TechDoba, HobbyPulse, their owners, founders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, partners, licensors, or any other person or entity behind TechDoba or the Application (collectively, the “TechDoba Parties”) be liable for any damages of any kind arising out of or related to your use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Application or any content, data, estimates, integrations, or features made available through it.

This includes, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or other damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost business opportunities; loss of goodwill; cost of substitute services; personal injury; property damage; and any claims related to buying, selling, trading, listing, shipping, insuring, grading, authenticating, storing, or otherwise handling collectibles or related transactions—whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, statute, or otherwise, even if a TechDoba Party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of the TechDoba Parties for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Application is limited to zero dollars (US $0) or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

3. Data, accuracy, and data loss

The TechDoba Parties are not responsible for:

• The accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any market values, comps, price histories, catalog data, images, grades, cert numbers, listings, or other information shown in or imported into the Application (including data from third parties such as CardHedge, eBay, graders, or other services);
• Any loss, corruption, deletion, unavailability, or unauthorized access to your data, photos, account, collections, or related content;
• Service interruptions, bugs, outages, or failures of the Application or any third-party service it relies on;
• Decisions you make based on information displayed in the Application.

You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups and records of your collection, purchases, sales, and other transactions.

4. Due diligence — investments and transactions

Always perform your own due diligence to protect your investments and any and all transactions. Before buying, selling, trading, listing, shipping, or otherwise dealing in any card or collectible—including private-party sales, public listings, auctions, or marketplace integrations—you must independently verify authenticity, condition, grading, pricing, counterparty identity, payment terms, shipping, insurance, taxes, and all other material facts. The TechDoba Parties do not broker, guarantee, escrow, insure, or underwrite any transaction between you and any third party.

5. Third-party services

The Application may integrate with or display data from third-party services (including market-data providers and marketplaces). Those services are governed by their own terms. The TechDoba Parties are not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, policies, or actions.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, for all activity under your account, and for ensuring that your use of the Application complies with applicable laws. You must not misuse the Application, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to harm others.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE TECHDOBA PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR PRESERVED.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the TechDoba Parties from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Application, your content, your transactions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

9. Peer offers on public collections

HobbyPulse may allow collectors to send structured offers on cards listed in public collections. An offer is a message that a buyer is interested at a stated price. Sellers may counter, accept, or decline. After an offer is accepted, the buyer may provide a structured shipping address and the seller may share payment handles (Cash App, Venmo, and/or PayPal) from their profile. Parties may also use an in-app notes thread for logistics. HobbyPulse only connects two unverified parties. We do not guarantee that the buyer has funds, that the seller possesses the card described, or that either party will complete payment or shipping. Any payment, shipping, taxes, and settlement remain the parties’ responsibility, without warranty, and with no effect on platform fees or economics. HobbyPulse is not responsible for any taxes that may or may not be owed; each party is solely responsible for determining and paying their own tax obligations. By submitting or accepting an offer, sharing payment or shipping details, or using the logistics thread, you acknowledge this limitation.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The effective date and version above will be updated when Terms change.
